3 months old

3 months old? 3 months old? My baby can't be 3 months old!!!!! But here she is growing so big. This is her waking up from her nap... stretching.

Watching TV with good old dad. She really loves her dad.

Sitting in her baby bumpo wearing an outfit great granny made.

On her tummy time mat. Eve's preschool teacher who is also a member of the church and a good friend made it for her. Apparently the black and white and different patterns help in brain development. So now we tell her "tummy time makes you smart!" She hates it. this is just seconds before she started screaming.

So here is what we know about her so far and what she can do...
  • She is just an angle of a baby. Very tollerant to our crazy life. She just fit right in with our schedule. She has a very easy sweet temperment
  • She sleeps through the night most of the time... yeah!
  • She's very aware of things around her especially her daddy. If she hears his voice from across the room she will strain her head around to find him. My mother in law says she does the same for me but I'm usually the one holding her so I don't see it. She likes to look at her toys and give out lots of smiles.
  • She's started to giggle a little
  • She is just a fantastically easy baby and goes with the flow. I was worried about getting four children out of the house and ready by 8:00am, I'm not saying its not challenging, but Its not immpossible either.
An example of a busy day, today. Wake up get everyone fed, dressed and out the door by 7:45am. Drop of David, Lance's brother, and Eli at school and then rush over to the gym. I teach the tots class at the gym. Afterwards I go work out while the kids watch TV. I then Shower, sometimes go to library time but not today, run home feed the kids lunch, take Eve to school, go home put Isaac in bed for nap and clean up the house. Anyone who has kids knows how hard this schedule would be for a baby. When do you feed her, when does she take a nap? Well that is just how wonderful she is. She just works with us. She is up for about half of the tots class. I just hold her and while I play with the kids. Then I just put her in her car seat when she gets fussy and she goes right to sleep and usually sleeps until we get home for lunch. I fed her in the locker room today though but that was my fault.

Funny story....There is another tots class after the one I teach. Sometimes my kids stay for the second class sometimes they watch TV while I work out. Today they watched TV. So I got them all set up watching Little Enstines and then ran upstairs to work out. While I was doing my weights I was thinking "I hope Isaac and Eve are being good." Then it dawned on me... "What did I do with ELIANA??@!! Usaully I bring her upstairs with me and she sleeps but today I FORGOT HER!! I left her in the room where the kid's class is. I ran down there. She was awake and MAD! The kids in the other class woke her up. So I took her upstairs and did my weight routine the fastest I've ever done it because she was yelling at me the whole time. Good thing the ladies I work out with don't mind helping me with her. Then I had to feed her because she was just so mad. Way to go me... forgetting my baby. Good thing she is forgiving.

She is just an angle and I am loving every minute of having her.

It is amazing how much she looks like Evelyn did at that age. She is a doll. It does sound like you have been quite busy, but that things are good.

Would you look at all that hair??
Bless your child for being the angel baby she is...and just to make you feel better, I had a Mom tell me once that they not only forgot their youngest baby, but actually drove away without her! At least you were in the same geographical location!
