Happy Valentines Day everyone! We had an all Red dinner last night to celebrate. I stole the idea from my good friend Amanda. The kids and daddy made me the worlds largest valentines day card too- in above picture.

The menu consisted of lasagna, cranberry juice, red raspberry jello,
fruit salad in red or pink cool whip and...

red rice krispy treats. Pretty cool, huh.
Lance just walked by and thought the rice krispies were raw hamburger and thought I'd lost my mind.- putting a picture of raw hamburger on the blog. When he saw the picture he said- "you really do spend too much time at home with the kids don't you."Now I just have to come up with an all green menu for St. Patty's day. Any ideas for a main dish? I've got some side dish ideas. Green jello, green beans, asparagus, fruit salad with green cool whip, green salad and then I could dye the Ranch green. I can't think of a main dish though.

Cute! I love it. And I laughed out loud when I read what Lance said about the rice crispies. :)
I should ask my mom what we used to do for the greenie missionaries. They used to always have a green meal whenever a new one came out. I just remember green breakfasts though. Green eggs, green orange juice (looks really gross). But i'll ask her and let you know what we come up with.
cabage is good as a vegi or broccoli too! I have done Alfredo and died it green, you can do green mashed pototoes easy enough, Last year I made pigs in a blanket and I just colored the dough green that was going around the hot dog green. That worked good. We also had those green guacamole chips and cabbage. It was yummy! I make white enchilladas you could dye green easy enough to... anything with a white sauce add food coloring and Ta Da! Greed food! Good luck! Hey good idea with the rice crispy treats!
You are such a fun Mom! Lance's hamburger reference rings true, but I'm sure they were really yummy. Can't wait to see what you cook up for St Patrick's Day.
