My sweet little Evelyn turned 5 today. She was so excited for her birthday, obviously, and we had a fun party for her. From the minute she was born Lance and I learned that little girls are a whole different creatures then little boys.
In a lot of ways she is a lot like me. She mommies the other kids, bosses them around, organizes our home, thinks of others, loves doing crafts and is all together a happy little girl.

This was taken a few days before her birthday but I couldn't get a normal picture of her on her birthday. All she could do is give me these crazy excited grins.
We are surrounded by so much family here that a small family party is no small matter.
Since she just learned to ride a two wheeler she got a new bike for her birthday. We bought it a little big so she going to have to do some growing into it.
Granny gave her a "lap top" computer for her birthday. This is her intently playing it with her daddy.

Happy Birthday Eve! I remember when you were a "tiny" new baby and my 3 month old look tiny! She was always such a sweet girl and we miss having her around here!!!
