Soccer

Finally soccer season is over....whew. We've been so busy I haven't even blogged about it all season. Lucky for us the soccer field is literally in our back yard. There is our yard... then the soccer field. We like to tease the kids that we can't make it to their game because it is SO inconvenient. This year Lance wasn't coaching golf for the High School so he was free to coach the kid's sports. He coached Eve's soccer team and is coaching Eli's T- ball team right now.

Eve had a good time with soccer. Made lots of improvements. She spent almost the entire first game holding Lance's hand and telling everyone that he was her daddy but by the last game she was keeping up with all the big kids, she is the youngest on her team. She can't wait to play again next year.Eli did fantastic this year. Last year he spent most of the games laying on the ground or pouting. When he asked to play again this year I told him I wasn't paying money to see him lay in the grass- I also told him if he played hard he could play hockey this winter. He did great. The first few games he pouted a little but by the end he was really into the game. He even scored a goal during the last game. It was the most exciting thing in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! He was very proud of himself. If you look closely at Eli's team picture in the back left you can see our house.
Above is just a cute picture of all my guys returning the goal post to where it belongs.

This is Eli ' playing. Stay tuned for T- ball picture coming up in the near future!

They look so cute in their uniforms! Soccer is so much fun. If I get released from my calling I just might let my kids play in the fall. It is still iffy since we will have a brand new baby!!!

Wow Kelli, You're a full blown soccer Mom! We just haven't even gone there yet, that kind of commitment makes me nervous! I love that Lance is involved and that the field is right out your back door! Maybe then I'd do it too!
