Gone to the dogs

Well I think we may have completely lost out minds but our family has grown a little more. We've added a beautiful 7 month old chocolate lab to our crazy house. Everyone... meet Bella...Although I didn't get to name her I love her name- its from my favorite series Twilight. A friend from Lance's work acquired her from another friend who couldn't have her any more and they were looking for a new home for her. Lance immediately wanted her... I was a little reluctant. She is a pure breed papered lab puppy- our dog Rusty is also pure breed papered lab. So essentially we just got Rusty a girl friend. We are hoping they will have puppies and make us a little $$$. And it will be fun for the kids to have puppies around. I think they will make very pretty pups.

So far it is working out well. Rusty loves his new girl friend. I think she is actually going to make him a better dog. As he is getting older he's been wondering but with Bella here he is sticking closer to home. She obviously hasn't had a lot of previous training but she is learning quickly. We are pretty picky at our house. No dogs on my carpet being the #1 rule and she's already caught on to that one. She's a lot smaller and more mellow then Rusty- Thank goodness!! I'm actually glad we didn't get her as a brand new puppy- I don't think I could go through that again!

Lance is just loving his two little dogs. He comes home every day excited to see them! I may just be the nicest wife in the world to let this go on but so far no regrets.

Wanna ship an eventual puppy to Alaska?! We'll pre-request a chocolate-colored one. Thanks!

I think it's great that the dogs get to be together - it's got to cut down on the monotony. To answer your question, subbing is good and bad - depending on the class. It works for me though, since I don't do it often so I don't go crazy and start to hate kids.
